20x

Return on Google Ads spend, on a channel they were not running at all before we started

The situation

Connovation’s marketing had been run in house by one person. When that marketing manager resigned in 2023, they came to us rather than replace the role.

In the twelve months before we took over, the site was pulling just under 63,000 visits a year and turning very few of them into sales. Almost all of that traffic came from organic search and people typing the address in directly. There was no paid search running at all, email was barely used, and the social presence sat under a thousand followers across two channels.

What we did

We took on the lot. SEO across their online store, Google Ads across both Search and Performance Max, email marketing, social content, the website itself, which we later rebuilt from the ground up, and the strategy that ties it all together.

One team running every channel, so nothing falls down the gap between agencies.

The rebuild

By the start of 2026 the site was going backwards. It was an ageing Shopify store, and in the first quarter of the year organic visits were down 58% on the same quarter a year earlier. Search had moved on and the site had not.

We rebuilt them on WordPress and WooCommerce and launched in April 2026. Since launch, revenue from organic search is within 10% of the same period last year on 30% fewer visits, because the new site turns far more of those visits into sales. Revenue per organic visit is up 28%.

Replatforming an ecommerce store is where most agencies lose their client’s search traffic. We moved this one across and came out the other side converting better than we went in.

What changed

In our first twelve months their online revenue grew 391%. Revenue per visit more than tripled, because we went after the people who were actually going to buy rather than chasing traffic for the sake of it.

Nearly three years on, the site is still turning over more than three times what it did before we started. Revenue from organic search is up 207% and now brings in 64% of everything the site sells. Google Ads, which they were not running at all, returns around 20 times what goes into it. Their social audience is up 162% and now spans four channels instead of two, with monthly reach up 195%.

Time to results

We started with them in October 2023, and the biggest jump landed inside the first twelve months. Close to $2 million of online sales have gone through the site since then.

Nearly three years later we are still running every channel for them, which is honestly the part we are proudest of.

Meta Ads

Under $600

Total ad spend for the month

The situation

Hem came to us with a pipeline that was drying up, relying entirely on word of mouth and referrals. He had already been through five or six agencies, some of them big names, spending thousands a month with nothing to show for it.

What we did

Built and ran a Meta instant lead form campaign targeting Wellington homeowners, with video creative, ongoing creative testing and lead form optimisation.

What changed

In one month the campaign delivered 31 enquiries from just under $600 of ad spend, a cost per lead of $19.41.

Five or six of those 31 leads turned into jobs, and an average roofing job is worth $25,000 to $30,000. So roughly $600 of ad spend produced somewhere between $125,000 and $180,000 of work.

Hem has had to pause the campaign at times because more leads were coming in than the team could get through.

In their words

“I’ve been working with Hannah and the team at Enquire Marketing for around 6 months, and it’s been money well spent. At one point we had too many leads coming in so we had to pause to get through them all.”

Time to results

The campaign went live on 15 May 2026. Cost per lead in the first month was $79.70. By July, month two, it was down to $19.41, a drop of 76%.

4.8x

Return on ad spend across the same three months

The situation

Dog Training Solutions sell dog training gear nationwide from a base in the Bay of Plenty, in a category where the big players outspend them comfortably.

Sales were slow, and they already had Google Ads running that was not delivering the results they wanted. We took the account over rather than starting again from scratch.

What we did

Google Ads Performance Max campaign management: asset groups, audience signals, bid strategy and conversion tracking, reported monthly.

What changed

Across May, June and July 2026 the campaign delivered 89 purchases from around $1,768 of ad spend, at an average cost per purchase of $19.86.

Those purchases brought in $8,653.84 of tracked sales, a return of roughly 4.8 times what went into the campaign.

In their words

“There was a noticeable increase in customer interactions.”

Time to results

We rebuilt the account as a Performance Max campaign in April 2026. May, June and July were the first three full months of the new setup, so these numbers are what that change produced almost straight away.

1

Agency that trusts us with its entire hosting book

The situation

MHP Digital is a New Zealand agency with a large hosting book. Keeping around 150 WordPress sites patched, backed up and online is a full time job, and it was not the job they wanted their own team doing.

What we did

Core, plugin and theme updates, security monitoring and patching, offsite backups and uptime monitoring across the whole book, plus their client support queue through ClickUp.

What changed

Their team stopped spending its week on maintenance. We became the ones who get the call when a site goes down, which is the arrangement everyone prefers.

If another agency will hand us its entire client base, your one site is in safe hands.

Time to results

The partnership started in May 2026 and has run without drama since, which in website maintenance is the entire point.
